अग्निमीळे पुरोहितं यज्ञस्य देवमृत्विजम्। होतारं रत्नधातमम्॥
Transliteration
agnimīḷe purohitaṁ yajñasya devamṛtvijam. hotāraṁ ratnadhātamam.
Meaning / Translation
I praise Agni, the priest of the sacrifice, the messenger of the gods, the sage, the leader of the ritual, the giver of precious things.

अग्निः पूर्वेभिरृषिभिरीड्यो नू तन्यः सधृचीः। स देवानामध वरणो होता दाता विधाता सधस्तुतः॥
Transliteration
agniḥ pūrvebhirṛṣibhirīḍyo nū tanyaḥ sadhṛcīḥ. sa devānāmadh varaṇo hotā dātā vidhātā sadhastutaḥ
Meaning / Translation
Agni, the ancient sages revered you, and you, like a friend, have been with them. You are the best among the gods, the messenger, the giver, the ordainer, and the one who is always praised in the assembly.
