जय जीमूतवाहन देव, संकट हरना हमारी। संतान की रक्षा करना, जय हो तुम्हारी। धर्म की रक्षा, पुत्रों की रक्षा, करहु कृपा हे देव भारी।
Transliteration
Jai Jimutavahana deva, sankat harna hamari. Santan ki raksha karna, jai ho tumhari. Dharma ki raksha, putron ki raksha, karahu kripa he deva bhari.
Meaning / Translation
Victory to Lord Jimutavahana, please remove our sufferings. Protect our children, victory to you. Protect righteousness and protect our sons, shower your heavy blessings, O Lord.

जीवित्पुत्रिका व्रत महान, माता करती श्रद्धा से। निर्जला रहकर तप करती, मन की शुद्धि करती है। पुत्रों की आयु दीर्घ हो, यही कामना है भारी।
Transliteration
Jivitputrika vrat mahaan, mata karti shraddha se. Nirjala rahakar tap karti, man ki shuddhi karti hai. Putron ki aayu deergh ho, yahi kamna hai bhari.
Meaning / Translation
The Jivitputrika fast is great, performed by mothers with profound faith. By staying without water, they perform penance and purify their souls. The greatest desire is that their sons attain long life.

जीतिया माई की जय हो, संकट दूर भगाओ। हमारे बच्चों पर सदा, अपना हाथ रख जाओ। खुशहाली और सुख मिले, दुःख को दूर भगाओ।
Transliteration
Jitiya maai ki jai ho, sankat door bhagao. Hamare bachon par sada, apna haath rakh jao. Khushali aur sukh mile, dukh ko door bhagao.
Meaning / Translation
Glory to Mother Jitiya, drive away all troubles. Always keep your protective hand upon our children. May we receive prosperity and happiness, and may all sorrows be banished.

जो भी माँ यह व्रत रखे, निष्काम भाव से। जीमूतवाहन की कृपा से, सुखी रहे वो वंश से। संतान की रक्षा हो, जय हो जितिया माई की।
Transliteration
Jo bhi maa yeh vrat rakhe, nishkaam bhaav se. Jimutavahana ki kripa se, sukhi rahe vo vansh se. Santan ki raksha ho, jai ho Jitiya Maai ki.
Meaning / Translation
Whosoever mother observes this fast with selfless devotion, through the grace of Jimutavahana, her lineage shall remain happy. May her children be protected, victory to Mother Jitiya.
