Verse 1

Original

ब्रह्मा मुरारि सूर्यश्च शनैश्चरो भानुमान् | तद्वद्रुद्रो विश्वरूपो महातेजा नमो नमस्ते ||

Transliteration

Brahmaa murari suryashcha shanaischaro bhaanumaan | tad vadrudro vishvaroopa mahateja namo namaste ||

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Surya, Lord Shani, Lord Bhanu, to that form of Rudra which is the universe, and to the great resplendent one

Verse 2

Original

वेदांतांबुजसूर्यो यो वेद त्रिगुणात्मकः | नमो नमस्ते तस्मै यस्य वाचको जनार्दनः ||

Transliteration

Vedaantaambujasooryo yo veda triguNaatmakah | namo namaste tasmai yasya vaachako janaardanah ||

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to that Lord who is the Sun to the lotus of the Vedanta, who is of the nature of the three gunas, and whose spokesman is Lord Janardana

Verse 3

Original

ब्रह्मा च विष्णु च शिवः स्कन्दः प्रज्ञा सरस्वती | गणाधीशः शान्तिश्च ते नमो नमस्ते नमः ||

Transliteration

Brahmaa cha vishnuh cha shivah skandah prajnya sarasvatee | ganaadiishah shaantishcha te namo namaste namah ||

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Skanda, Prajna, Saraswati, Ganesha, and to peace

Verse 4

Original

विश्वेश्वरो विशालाक्षो विश्वात्मा विश्वरूपधृक् | विश्वम्भरो विश्वकर्ता विश्वाधारो महाद्युते ||

Transliteration

Vishveshvaro vishaalaaksho vishvaatmaa vishvaroopadhrik | vishvambharo vishvakaartaa vishvaadhaaro mahadyute ||

Meaning / Translation

You are the Lord of the universe, with large eyes, the soul of the universe, having a universal form, the supporter of the universe, the creator of the universe, and the great resplendent one

Verse 5

Original

नमो नमस्ते स्तु भक्तानाम् भयं नास्ति क्वचिदपि | त्वत्पादपद्मध्यानेन हृदि वसति शिवः ||

Transliteration

Namo namaste stu bhaktaanam bhayam naasti kvachidapi | tvatpaadapadmadyaaneena hrudi vasati shivah ||

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to you, by meditating on whose lotus feet, there is no fear anywhere for the devotees, and Lord Shiva resides in the heart
