श्यामा वर्ण सुघड़ सजीला, वीणा हाथ सजाए। ज्ञान बुद्धि प्रदात्री माता, मनवांछित फल दिलाए॥
Transliteration
Shyama varna sughad sajila, veena haath sajaye. Gyaan buddhi pradaatri mata, manvaanchit phal dilaaye.

With a beautiful dark complexion, holding the Veena in your hands. O Mother, the giver of knowledge and intellect, you fulfill all the heart's desires.

वाग्देवी तुम शक्ति स्वरुपा, कलाओं की खान। शरण पड़े जो तुम्हारी माता, पाते परम ज्ञान॥
Transliteration
Vaagdevi tum shakti swaroopa, kalaon ki khaan. Sharan pade jo tumhari mata, paate param gyaan.

Andhakaar ko door bhagao, satya ka maarg dikhao. Bhakti bhaav se jo bhi gaaye, uski jholi bhar jaao.
