Shanti Mantra

ॐ द्यौः शान्तिरन्तरिक्षं शान्तिः पृथिवी शान्तिरापः शान्तिरोषधयः शान्तिः । वनस्पतयः शान्तिर्विश्वेदेवाः शान्तिर्ब्रह्म शान्तिः सर्वं शान्तिः शान्तिरेव शान्तिः सा मा शान्तिरेधि ॥
Transliteration
Om dyauḥ śāntirantarikṣaṃ śāntiḥ pṛthivī śāntirāpaḥ śāntiroṣadhayaḥ śāntiḥ. Vanaspatayaḥ śāntirviśvedevāḥ śāntirbrahma śāntiḥ sarvaṃ śāntiḥ śāntireva śāntiḥ sā mā śāntiredhi.
Meaning / Translation
May there be peace in heaven, peace in the sky, peace on earth, peace in the waters, peace in the plants, peace in the trees, peace in the gods, peace in Brahman, peace in all, and may that peace be mine.

Transliteration
Om pretāya namaḥ. Om pitṛbhyaḥ namaḥ. Om pitāmahabhyaḥ namaḥ. Om prapitāmahabhyaḥ namaḥ.
Meaning / Translation
Salutations to the departed soul, salutations to the ancestors, salutations to the grandfathers, salutations to the great-grandfathers.
Mukhagni Mantra

अग्निर्मुखं मित्रावरुणो देवोऽन्तरात्मा । गायत्रं चन्दसामाहं गायत्रेण प्रतिमान्ते ॥
Transliteration
Agnirmukhaṃ mitrāvaruṇo devo'ntarātma. Gāyatrāṃ chandasāmāhaṃ gāyatreṇa pratimānte.
Meaning / Translation
Agni is the mouth, Mitra and Varuna are the divine within. I proclaim Gayatri, the foremost of the meters, as the culmination of all speech.

अस्तु श्री आशीर्वादः । श्रद्धा श्रद्धाधानं श्रaddhे त्वयि श्रद्धामयं मयि श्रद्धां जुषताम् ।
Transliteration
Astu śrī āśīrvādaḥ. Śraddhā śraddhādhānaṃ śraddhe tvayi śraddhāmayaṃ mayi śraddhāṃ juṣatām.
Meaning / Translation
May there be blessings. May faith be the wealth, may faith be in you, and may I be filled with faith, may faith be pleasing to you.
