Hey Maa Ambe, Hey Jagdambe, teri mahima apaar. Navratri ke paavan parv par, kar do beda paar.

O Mother Ambe, O Mother of the Universe, your glory is infinite. On this holy festival of Navratri, please guide our souls across the ocean of life.

गरबा रा खेलो माँ, डांडिया की ताल पे। झूम रहे भक्त सभी, तेरी दिव्य छाल पे॥ दीप जले आरती सजे, मैया तेरी जय-जयकार।
Transliteration
Garba ra khelo Maa, Dandiya ki taal pe. Jhoom rahe bhakt sabhi, teri divya chaal pe. Deep jale aarti saje, Maiya teri jai-jaikaar.
Meaning / Translation
Play the Garba, Mother, to the rhythm of the Dandiya. All devotees are dancing in ecstasy to your divine grace. Lamps are lit and the Aarti is prepared, shouting your victory, O Mother!

सिंह वाहिनी, शक्ति स्वरूपा, दुष्टों का संहारिणी। भक्तों की दुःख हरणी, मैया तू जगजननी॥

Simha vaahini, Shakti swaroopa, dushton ka sanhaarini. Bhakton ki dukh harini, Maiya tu Jagjanani.

Rider of the lion, the embodiment of cosmic power, the destroyer of the wicked. The remover of all sorrows for your devotees, O Mother, you are the Creator of the World.

नौ रूपों में तू ही विराजे, नौ रातों का तू है उल्लास। हम सब पर रखना अपनी कृपा, पूर्ण करो हमारी आस॥

Nau roopon mein tu hi viraaje, nau raaton ka tu hai ullaas. Hum sab par rakhna apni kripa, poorn karo humari aas.

You reside in your nine divine forms, you are the joy of these nine nights. Keep your grace upon us all, and fulfill our deepest hopes.
