Verse 1
Original
ये पितरो देव सोमस्य ये च पितरो अग्निष्टात् । ये पितरो वरुणस्य ये च पितरो वायोर्वातः ॥
Transliteration
Ye pitaro deva somasya ye cha pitaro agnishthat . Ye pitaro varunasya ye cha pitaro vayorvatah .
Meaning / Translation
Those fathers who are among the gods, who are in the soma juice, who are in the fire, who are in the wind, who are in the Vasus.

Meaning / Translation
Those fathers who are among the gods, who are in the soma juice, who are in the fire, who are in the wind, who are in the Vasus, those fathers who are in the directions and the intermediate directions, and those who are in the sun.

आयंति पितरः सोम्यासः स्वधया मदन्ति चैकते । ये पितरो घृतपृश्ठा अनु पितरो वायुरनु ॥
Transliteration
Ayanti pitarah somyasa svadhyaya madanti chaikate . Ye pitaro ghritaprishta anu pitaro vayuranu .
Meaning / Translation
The fathers come, exhilarated by soma, delighted with svadha, and united; the fathers who are anointed with ghee and the fathers who follow the wind.

ये पितरः स्वधया मदन्ति ये पितरः सोमेन ये च । ये पितरो घृतेन ये च पितरो मधु वा ये पितरः ॥
Transliteration
Ye pitarah svadhyaya madanti ye pitarah somena ye cha . Ye pitaro ghritena ye cha pitaro madhu va ye pitarah .
Meaning / Translation
Those fathers who are exhilarated by svadha, those fathers who are exhilarated by soma, those fathers who are anointed with ghee, and those fathers who are delighted with honey.

Ye deva dishah pratisdishah suryasya cha ye devah . Ye pitarah svadhyaya madanti ye pitarah somena ye cha .
