शरद ऋतु की बेला आई, संग में माँ की ज्योत लाई। नील गगन में चाँद खिला है, जग में माँ का रूप मिला है।
Transliteration
Sharad ritu ki bela aayi, sang mein Maa ki jyot laayi. Neel gagan mein chaand khila hai, jag mein Maa ka roop mila hai.
Meaning / Translation
The season of autumn has arrived, bringing with it the divine light of the Mother. The moon shines in the blue sky, and the manifestation of the Mother is revealed to the world.

सिंह वाहिनी, शक्ति स्वरूपा, जग जननी, तू है करुणा रूपा। अष्ट भुजाओं में अस्त्र सजे हैं, भक्तों के हृदय में हर्ष बजे हैं।
Transliteration
Simha vaahini, Shakti swaroopa, Jag janani, tu hai karuna roopa. Asht bhujaon mein astra saje hain, bhakton ke hriday mein harsh baje hain.

महिषासुर मर्दिनी तुम हो, दुखों का संहार करने वाली तुम हो। शारदीय नवरात्र की महिमा अपार, कर दो माँ हम पर कृपा अपार।

Mahishasura Mardini tum ho, dukhon ka sanhaar karne waali tum ho. Sharadiya Navratra ki mahima apaar, kar do Maa hum par kripa apaar.
