Hail Lord Ganesha, the son of Girija (Parvati), the source of all auspiciousness and wisdom. The learned, the wise, the destroyer of demons, and the bringer of welfare.

जय गिरिजा पति दीन दयाल। सदा करत सन्तन प्रतिपाल॥ जय जय जय जगदम्ब समाना। भव भंजन हर भव भमाना॥ भक्तन के दुःख दूर निवारो। सदा शिव तुम महिमा विस्तारो॥ विभूति भस्म सोहे तन अंग। नंदी की सवारी अति रंग॥ चंद्रमौली मुकुट शिर सोहे। गंगा की धार मन को मोहे॥ त्रिशूल डमरू हाथ में साजे। त्रिनेत्र ज्वाला मन में विराजे॥ भाल चन्द्र मस्तक अति सोहे। नंदी वाहन मन को मोहे॥ गले मुण्ड की माला सोहे। रूप शिव का मन को मोहे॥ नीलकंठ विष पान किया है। देवों का कल्याण किया है॥ बैल सवारी भस्म अंग लगाये। मंद मंद मृदु मुस्कान दिखाये॥ कैलाश पति शिव अविनाशी। तुम हो सकल जगत के वासी॥ अघोर रूप अति मंगलकारी। तुम हो सब जग के हितकारी॥ पार्वती के प्राण पियारे। भक्तन के तुम हो रखवारे॥ शिव शंकर अविनाशी दाता। तुम हो सुख के भाग्य विधाता॥ जो जन तुम्हें ध्यावे नित हो। संकट मिटे न कोई दुख हो॥ मनवांछित फल पावे सदा। शिव की कृपा रहे हृदय में सदा॥ जय जय शिव शंकर अविनाशी। तुम हो भक्तन के हितकारी॥ भक्ति भाव से जो गुण गावे। भव सागर से पार उतर जावे॥

Hail the Lord of Girija, compassionate to the needy, who always protects the saints. Hail, hail to the one equal to Mother Jagadamba, the destroyer of the cycle of birth and death. Remove the sorrows of your devotees and always expand your glory. Sacred ash adorns your body, and your ride on Nandi is magnificent. The crescent moon adorns your head, and the flow of Ganga charms the mind. The trident and damru grace your hands, and the flame of the third eye resides in your mind. The moon on your forehead is beautiful, and your mount Nandi charms the heart. A garland of skulls adorns your neck, and your form captivates the mind. The Blue-throated one who consumed poison for the welfare of the gods. Riding the bull, covered in ash, with a gentle smile. Lord of Kailash, the indestructible, you reside in the entire universe. Your fierce form is auspicious, and you are the benefactor of all worlds. Beloved of Parvati, you are the protector of devotees. Lord Shiva, the indestructible giver, the architect of happiness. Whoever meditates on you daily, their troubles and sorrows vanish. They always attain their heart's desires, with Shiva's grace always in their heart. Hail, hail, Lord Shiva, the indestructible benefactor of devotees. He who sings your glories with devotion, shall cross the ocean of worldly existence.
