Verse 1

Original

अङ्गं हारमिभासः शङ्करस्य गौरी नटेशम्। भुक्तिं मुक्तिं ददातु मा शङ्करस्य प्रेमतः।

Transliteration

Angam hara bibhasa Shankaras ya Gauri Natesham, Bhuktim muktim dadatu ma Shankaras ya prematah.

Meaning / Translation

May the love of Lord Shankara bestow upon me worldly pleasures and liberation, His body is adorned with a garland of golden flowers, and He is the Lord of Gauri.

Verse 2

Original

कानादं वृन्दावनंतुङ्गमेरुहरसि। वृन्दावनविहारम् हरसि वामपादम्।

Transliteration

Kanadam Vrindavanantungameru harasi, Vrindavanavihaaram harasi vaam paadam.

Meaning / Translation

You wear a golden ornament on your ear, and you are the destroyer of the pride of the Vrindavana mountain, and you put your left foot forward while roaming in Vrindavana.

Verse 3

Original

मां गौरी शरणं व्रज। कदंबवनचारिणीं, कामेश्वरप्रियां नतां क्लेशहरां प्रपद्यताम्।

Transliteration

Mam Gauri sharanam vraj, Kadambavanacharinim, Kameshvarapriyam natam kleshaharam prapadyatam.

Meaning / Translation

I take refuge in Goddess Gauri, who roams in the Kadamba forest, who is the beloved of Kameshwara, and who destroys all troubles of those who bow to her.

Verse 4

Original

अहहा महाकाली महालक्ष्मी महासरस्वती। महादेवप्रिया गौरी महेळा त्रिभुवनेश्वरी।

Transliteration

Ahaha Maha Kali Maha Lakshmi Maha Saraswati, Maha Devapriya Gauri Maha bhela Tribhuvaneshwari.

Meaning / Translation

Goddess Gauri is the great Kali, the great Lakshmi, the great Saraswati, the beloved of Mahadeva, and the ruler of the three worlds.

Verse 5

Original

कैरवेणी नाम देवी शिवभक्तिपरायणा। कान्तिभिर्हेमगौरभिर्भूषितांगीं भजेऽहं भावतः।

Transliteration

Kairaveni nama devi Shivabhakti parayana, Kantibhih hemagaurabhih bhushitangim bhajeaham bhavatah.

Meaning / Translation

I worship Goddess Gauri, whose name is Kairavini, who is devoted to Lord Shiva, and whose body is adorned with golden ornaments, with love and devotion.

Original

महादेवस्य प्रियायै महाकाल्यै महालक्ष्म्यै। महासरस्वत्यै मङ्गलम्।

Transliteration

Maha Devasya priyayai Maha Kalyai Maha Lakshmyai, Maha Saraswatyai mangalam.

Meaning / Translation

Auspiciousness to the beloved of Mahadeva, to the great Kali, to the great Lakshmi, and to the great Saraswati.

Verse 7

Original

कमलासङ्काशमकरुणामये पाहिमां श्रियं। कमलासनस्थिते सहिते कameshvariikritे。

Transliteration

Kamalasankasham karunamaye pahimam Shriyam, Kamalasanasthite sahite Kameshwari krite.

Meaning / Translation

I pray to Goddess Lakshmi, who is seated on a lotus, who is the embodiment of compassion, and who is the beloved of Lord Kameshwara, to bestow prosperity upon me.

Verse 8

Original

कमलासने काली कamesh्वरप्रिये कामितार्थदे । कामितफलदे मोक्षदे मङ्गलरूपेण संस्थिते।

Transliteration

Kamalasane Kali Kameshvarapriye kamitarthade, Kamitaphalade mokshade mangalarupena samshtite.

Meaning / Translation

Seated on a lotus, Goddess Kali is the beloved of Lord Kameshwara, and she fulfills all desires, grants the fruits of desires, liberation, and is the embodiment of auspiciousness.
