मंगलाचरणम् (Mangalacharanam)

ॐ श्री रंगनाथाय नमः। आदि शेष शयने, कावेरी तीरे विरते, श्री रंगनाथाय नमः॥

Transliteration

Om Shri Ranganathaya Namah. Adi Shesha shayane, Kaveri tire virate, Shri Ranganathaya Namah.

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to Lord Ranganatha. The one who reclines on the serpent Adi Shesha and resides on the sacred banks of the river Kaveri. Salutations to Lord Ranganatha.

ध्यानम् (Dhyanam)

Original

नीलमेघश्यामं पद्मनाभं, विश्वेश्वरं सर्वलोकनाथम्। रंगनाथं भक्तवत्सलं, शरणं प्रपद्ये जगन्नाथम्॥

Transliteration

Neelamegha-shyamam Padmanabham, Vishveshwaram Sarvaloka-natham. Ranganatham Bhaktavatsalam, Sharanam Prapadye Jagannatham.

Meaning / Translation

I surrender to Lord Ranganatha, who is dark like the blue clouds, who has a lotus-like navel, who is the Lord of the entire universe, and who is deeply compassionate toward His devotees.

श्रीरंगक्षेत्रे निवासित, दिव्य स्वरूपाय नमो नमः। शरणागतवत्सल, कल्याण रूपाय नमो नमः॥

Transliteration

Shri Rangakshetre nivasita, divya swaroopaya namo namah. Sharanagata-vatsala, kalyana roopaya namo namah.
