मंगलाचरण (Invocation)

धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः। धर्म एव जयते। सत्य ही आधार है, सत्य ही सार है।
Transliteration
Dharmo rakshati rakshitah. Dharma eva jayate. Satya hi aadhaar hai, satya hi saar hai.
Meaning / Translation
Dharma protects those who protect it. Dharma alone triumphs. Truth is the foundation, and truth is the essence.
स्वधर्म (Personal Duty)

स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेयः, परधर्मो भयावहः। अपने कर्तव्य का पालन ही वास्तविक धर्म है।
Transliteration
Swadharmé nidhanam shreyah, paradharmo bhayavahah. Apne kartavya ka paalan hi vaastavik dharma hai.
Meaning / Translation
It is better to die following one's own duty than to follow another's path, which is fraught with fear. Fulfilling one's own duty is true Dharma.

अहिंसा परमो धर्मः, सत्यमेव जयते। सदाचार और संयम ही धर्म के स्तंभ हैं।
Transliteration
Ahimsa paramo dharmah, satyameva jayate. Sadachar aur sanyam hi dharma ke stambh hain.
Meaning / Translation
Non-violence is the highest Dharma, and truth alone triumphs. Righteous conduct and self-control are the pillars of Dharma.

Rta aur dharma ka mel hai, brahmand ka santulan hai. Dharma hi aatma ka swabhav hai.
