Meaning / Translation
The wise know karma to be threefold: Sanchita (accumulated), Prarabdha (destiny), and Agami (future). Sanchita karma is the infinite store of all past actions. Prarabdha karma is that portion which has begun to bear fruit and must be experienced in this life. Agami karma is the action being performed now by a human being, which will yield fruit in the future.
