Preparation Steps

1. 1Find a clean, quiet space away from distractions.
2. 2Wash your hands and face to purify the physical body.
3. 3Sit in a comfortable meditative posture (Sukhasana or Padmasana).
4. 4Set a clear intention (Sankalpa) to harmonize your internal and external elements.

Steps

1. 1Prithvi (Earth) Grounding: Sit firmly on the floor or a mat. Visualize roots extending from your base into the earth, feeling the stability and strength of the ground.
2. 2Jala (Water) Fluidity: Drink a glass of water mindfully, feeling its coolness and life-giving properties. Visualize your emotions flowing like a calm river, cleansing away stagnation.
3. 3Agni (Fire) Transformation: Light a ghee lamp or incense. Focus on the flame, visualizing your internal digestive and spiritual fires burning away impurities and doubts.
4. 4Vayu (Air) Vitality: Perform slow, deep Pranayama (breathing exercises). Feel the air entering your lungs, bringing Prana (life force) into every cell of your body.

Regional Variations
