ॐ नमः शिवाय गुरवे सच्चिदानन्दमूर्तये । निष्प्रपञ्चाय शान्ताय निरालम्बाय तेजसे ॥
Om namah shivaya gurave sacchidanandamurtaye | Nishprapancaya shantaya niralambaya tejasе ||
Meaning: Salutations to the Guru who is Shiva, the embodiment of existence-consciousness-bliss, who is beyond the world of multiplicity, peaceful, unsupported, and radiant.

Om Namah Shivaya
Meaning: I bow to Shiva, the auspicious one, the supreme consciousness. The five syllables (Na-Ma-Shi-Va-Ya) represent the five elements and the five aspects of Shiva.
ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि । तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात् ॥
Om tatpurushaya vidmahe mahadevaya dhimahi | Tanno rudrah prachodayat ||
Meaning: We meditate on the Supreme Person (Tatpurusha), the Great God (Mahadeva); may Rudra inspire and illumine our intellect.
ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् । उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ॥
Om tryambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushtivardhanam | Urvarukamiva bandhanan mrityor mukshiya mamritat ||
Meaning: We worship the three-eyed Lord (Tryambaka) who is fragrant and nourishes all beings; may He liberate us from death like a cucumber from its vine, granting immortality.
करचरणकृतं वा कायजं कर्मजं वा श्रवणनयनजं वा मानसं वापराधम् । विहितमविहितं वा सर्वमेतत्क्षमस्व जय जय करुणाब्धे श्रीमहादेव शम्भो ॥
Karacharankritam va kayajam karmajam va Shravananayanajam va manasam vaaparadham | Vihitamavihitam va sarvametat kshamasva Jaya jaya karunabdhe shri mahadeva shambho ||
Meaning: O Ocean of Compassion, Great Lord Shambhu! Forgive all sins committed by my hands, feet, body, actions, ears, eyes, and mind — whether prescribed or prohibited. Victory to You!
