Best Time to Recite

How to Recite

1. 1Step 1: Deep Breathing: Begin with several rounds of Pranayama to synchronize the breath with the body's rhythm.
2. 2Step 2: Internalizing the Sound: Start with silent mental chanting (Manasa Japa) of a chosen mantra to settle the internal noise.
3. 3Step 3: Audible Chanting (Vaikhari): Gradually transition to soft, rhythmic chanting of the mantra. Focus on the vibration in your throat and chest.
4. 4Step 4: Resonance Observation: As you chant, visualize the sound waves traveling through your body, clearing blockages in the Nadis and Chakras.
5. 5Step 5: Using External Tools: If using a bell or conch, use them at the beginning or end of the session to demarcate sacred time and cleanse the surrounding energy.
6. 6Step 6: Silent Integration: After chanting, sit in absolute silence (Mauna) for several minutes to allow the vibrations to settle into the cellular memory.
7. 7Step 7: Gratitude: Conclude by offering thanks to the Divine, the Guru, and the elements for the healing energy received.
