Transliteration
Matsya roop dhar kar tumne, Vedon ko bachaya tha. Kurma roop dhar Mandarachala, saagar mein uthaya tha.
Meaning / Translation
Taking the form of a Fish, You saved the holy Vedas from the deluge. Taking the form of a Tortoise, You supported Mount Mandara during the churning of the ocean.

वराह रूप धर पृथ्वी को, पाताल से निकाला था। नरसिंह रूप धर प्रह्लाद को, संकट से निकाला था।
Transliteration
Varaha roop dhar Prithvi ko, paatal se nikala tha. Narasimha roop dhar Prahalad ko, sankat se nikala tha.
Meaning / Translation
Taking the form of a Boar, You rescued the Earth from the depths of the underworld. Taking the form of Narasimha (Half-man, Half-lion), You rescued Prahalad from great distress.

Taking the form of Rama, You taught the ideals of righteousness and conduct to the world. Taking the form of Krishna, You bestowed upon us the divine wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita.
