उग्रं वीरं महाविष्णुं ज्वलन्तं सर्वतोमुखम्। नृसिंहं भीषणं भद्रं मृत्युमृत्युं नमाम्यहम्॥
Transliteration
Ugram veeram mahavishnum jvalantam sarvatomukham. Nrisimham bheeshanam bhadrarm mritymrityum namamyaham
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Lord Narasimha, the fierce and powerful form of Lord Vishnu, who is blazing with energy and has faces all around, the terrible yet auspicious one, who is the death of death itself.

नखायुधं शर्चचापं नारसिंहं विबध्वानुम्। विलोकयंति ये भक्त्या पुण्यपापविवर्जिताः॥
Transliteration
Nakhayudham sharchachapam narasimham vibhadhvanum. Vilokayanti ye bhaktya punyapapavivarjitah
Meaning / Translation
Those who devoutly behold Lord Narasimha, who wields his sharp claws as weapons and shines with a radiant aura, are freed from both good and bad deeds (i.e., their karma is purified).

प्रपन्नार्तिसुधापानं भक्तानां प्रतिपादकम्। सेवकं सेवकानां च गोप्तारं मे मनागपि॥
Transliteration
Prannartisudhapaanam bhaktanam pratipadakam. Sevakam sevakananam cha goataram me managapi
Meaning / Translation
Lord Narasimha is the one who drinks the nectar of the prayers of the distressed, who fulfills the desires of his devotees, and is the protector of his servants, always and forever in my mind.

नमस्ते नारसिंहाया विज्ञानशून्यविग्रहा। वेदवेद्याय विश्वात्मन् विभूत्यै ब्रह्मसवित्रे नमः॥
Transliteration
Namaste narasimhaya vijnanashunyavigraha. Vedavedyaya vishvatman vibhute brahmasavitre namah
Meaning / Translation
Salutations to Lord Narasimha, whose form is beyond all knowledge and the universe, who is the object of the Vedas, the soul of the universe, the manifestation of the absolute, and the ultimate reality.
