द्रौपदी ने जब चीर हरण से रक्षा माँगी, आपने उँगली का वस्त्र बाँध कर लाज बचाई। वही रक्षा का भाव आज फिर मन में जागा है, भक्त और भगवान का रिश्ता सबसे प्यारा है।
Transliteration
Draupadi ne jab cheer haran se raksha maangi, Aapne ungli ka vastra baandh kar laaj bachai. Wahi raksha ka bhaav aaj phir man mein jaaga hai, Bhakt aur Bhagwan ka rishta sabse pyaara hai.
Meaning / Translation
When Draupadi sought protection from the disrobing, You saved her dignity by tying a piece of cloth to Your finger. That same sense of protection has awakened in our hearts today, The relationship between the devotee and God is the most beautiful.

रेशम की डोरी में बसी है श्रद्धा अपार, भाई-बहन के प्रेम का ये पावन त्यौहार। ये धागा नहीं, ये तो विश्वास की डोर है, दुखों के अंधकार में, ये खुशियों की भोर है।

Resham ki dori mein basi hai shraddha apaar, Bhai-behen ke prem ka ye paavan tyohar. Ye dhaaga nahi, ye toh vishwas ki dor hai, Dukhon ke andhkar mein, ye khushiyon ki bhor hai.

रक्षा सूत्र बाँधकर हम करें आपसे विनती, हर संकट से रखना हमारी रक्षा, हे जगदीश्वर! कृष्ण! आप ही रक्षक, आप ही आधार, सब पर बनाए रखना अपना असीम प्यार।

Raksha sutra baandhkar hum karein aapse vinati, Har sankat se rakhna hamari raksha, He Jagdishwar! Krishna! Aap hi rakshak, aap hi aadhaar, Sab par banaye rakhna apna aseem pyaar.

Tying the protective thread, we pray to You, Protect us from every calamity, O Lord of the Universe! Krishna! You are the protector, You are the foundation, Keep showering Your infinite love upon everyone.
