The Bahula temple at Ketugram in Purba Bardhaman district stands near the Ajay river and is one of the classic Shakti Peethas of Bengal. The goddess Bahula, a nurturing form of the Divine Mother, is enshrined in a modest but deeply venerated shrine. The site sits within the wider sacred geography of Bengal's Peethas and is a focus of local Shakta devotion, drawing pilgrims throughout the year and especially during Navratri.
