Meaning / Translation

I salute Lord Vishnu, who has a peaceful form, who sleeps on the serpent, who has a lotus springing from his navel, and who is the Lord of all gods. He supports the entire universe, is as vast as the sky, has the complexion of a dark cloud, and possesses beautiful limbs. He is the beloved of Lakshmi, has eyes like lotuses, is attained by yogis through meditation, removes the fear of worldly existence, and is the sole Lord of all the worlds.
