I meditate upon Maa Ugratara, possessing the luminous dark-blue hue of a blue lotus, three-eyed and adorned with the crescent moon. With Her lotus-like hands, She holds a sword, a skull-cup (kapala), grants boons (varada), and bears the sacred seed-fruit (Bijapoora). She grants boons to Her devotees, delivers them from the terrifying ocean of worldly existence, and bestows all spiritual and material attainments.
