श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजु मन हरण भवभय दारुणम्। नवकंज लोचन, कंज मुख, कर कंज, पद कंजारुणम्॥

Transliteration

Shri Ramchandra kripalu bhaju man haran bhava bhaya darunam | Nav-kanja lochan, kanja mukh, kar kanja, pad kanjarunam ||

Meaning / Translation

O mind! Worship the compassionate Lord Ramachandra, who removes the terrible fears of the cycle of birth and death. His eyes are like fresh lotuses, His face is like a lotus, His hands are like lotuses, and His feet are like red lotuses.

कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरम्। पट पीत मानहु तड़ित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरम्॥

Transliteration

Kandarp aganit amit chhavi nav neel neerad sundaram | Pat peet manahu tadit ruchi shuchi naumi janak sutavaram ||

Meaning / Translation

His beauty is immeasurable, surpassing countless gods of love, looking like a fresh dark blue cloud. His yellow garments shine like lightning; I bow to the Lord, the consort of Sita (the daughter of Janaka).

भजु दीनबंधु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश निकंदनम्। रघुनंद आनंदकंद कोशल चंद दशरथ नंदनम्॥

Transliteration

Bhaju deenabandhu dinesh daanav daitya vansh nikandanam | Raghunand aanandakand koshal chand dashrath nandanam ||

Meaning / Translation

Worship the friend of the poor, the lord of the sun, the destroyer of the demon lineages. The joy of the Raghu clan, the source of bliss, the moon of Kosala, and the son of Dasharatha.

Transliteration

Sir mukut kundal tilak chaaru udaaru ang vibhushanam | Aajaanubhuja shar chaap dhar sangram jit khar dooshanam ||

Meaning / Translation

With a crown upon His head, beautiful earrings and tilak, and grand ornaments adorning His limbs. With arms reaching His knees, bearing bow and arrow, He conquered the demons Khara and Dushana in battle.
