ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय। श्री कृष्णाय नमः॥

Transliteration

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Shri Krishnaya Namah.

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to the Lord who dwells in all. Salutations to Lord Krishna.

Stanza 1: The Divine Form

मंद मंद मुस्कान मनोहर, श्याम वरण छवि अति न्यारी। मोर मुकुट पीताम्बर सोहे, मुरली धारी गोकुल धारी॥

Transliteration

Mand mand muskaan manohar, Shyam varan chhavi ati nyaari. Mor mukut peetambar sohe, Murli dhaari Gokul dhaari.

Meaning / Translation

His gentle, enchanting smile and His dark complexion are unique and beautiful. The peacock crown and yellow garments adorn Him, the flute player who resides in Gokul.

Stanza 2: The Act of Devotion

तेरे चरणों में अर्पित जीवन, मन मेरा बस तेरा पुजारी। भक्ति भाव की ज्योति जलाकर, कर दो कृपा हे गिरधारी॥

Transliteration

Tere charnon mein arpit jeevan, mann mera bas tera pujaari. Bhakti bhaav ki jyoti jalaakar, kar do kripa hey Giridhari.

Meaning / Translation

My entire life is offered at Your feet; my mind is solely Your devotee. By lighting the flame of pure devotion, shower Your grace upon me, O Giridhari.

Stanza 3: Seeking Refuge

संकट में तुम साथ निभाते, मोह माया से हमें बचाते। शरण तुम्हारी जो भी आता, भव सागर से पार उतरते॥

Transliteration

Sankat mein tum saath nibhate, moh maaya se humein bachate. Sharan tumhari jo bhi aata, bhav saagar se paar utarte.

Meaning / Translation

You stand by us in times of distress and protect us from worldly illusions. Whoever seeks refuge in You successfully crosses the turbulent ocean of material existence.
