देवघर की पावन भूमि, बाबा बैद्यनाथ का धाम। शिव चरणों में शीश नवाते, जपते शिव का नाम।
Transliteration
Deoghar ki paavan bhoomi, Baba Baidyanath ka dhaam. Shiv charnon mein sheesh nawate, japte Shiv ka naam.
Meaning / Translation
The holy land of Deoghar, the abode of Baba Baidyanath. We bow our heads at the feet of Shiva, chanting the name of Lord Shiva.

बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में श्रेष्ठ, बैद्यनाथ का वास। भक्तों के संकट हर लेते, पूर्ण करते आस।
Transliteration
Baarah Jyotirlingon mein shreshtha, Baidyanath ka vaas. Bhakton ke sankat har lete, poorn karte aas.
Meaning / Translation
Among the twelve Jyotirlingas, the residence of Baidyanath is supreme. He removes the troubles of His devotees and fulfills their aspirations.

सुल्तानगंज से गंगा जल, कांवर में भर लाते। पैदल चलकर देवघर में, बाबा को चढ़ाते।
Transliteration
Sultanganj se Ganga jal, Kanwar mein bhar laate. Paidal chalkar Deoghar mein, Baba ko chadhaate.

Bringing holy water from Sultanganj in the Kanwar, devotees walk on foot to Deoghar to offer it to Baba.

Vaidyanath kehlate Prabhu, rogon ka jo naash karein. Kripa drishti jo daal dein, jeevan ka kalyan karein.

The Lord is called Vaidyanath, the destroyer of all ailments. He who casts His graceful glance brings welfare to one's life.
