Invocation of the Divine Forms

जयन्ती मङ्गला काली भद्रकाली कपालिनी। दुर्गा क्षमा शिवा धात्री स्वाहा स्वधा नमोऽस्तु ते॥

Transliteration

Jayantī maṅgalā kālī bhadrakālī kapālinī | durgā kṣamā śivā dhātrī svāhā svadhā namostu te ||

Meaning / Translation

Victory to Jayanti (the victorious), Mangala (the auspicious), Kali (the dark one), Bhadrakali (the benevolent), and Kapalini (the one who holds a skull). Salutations to Durga, the forgiving, the auspicious, the sustainer, and the embodiment of Svaha and Swadha.

Transliteration

Rūpaṃ dehi jayaṃ dehi yaśo dehi dviṣo jahi ||

Meaning / Translation

Grant me divine beauty, grant me victory, grant me glory, and destroy my inner and outer enemies.

Transliteration

Namo devyai mahādevyai śivāyai satataṃ namaḥ | namo prakṛtyai bhadrāya niyataḥ praṇatāḥ sma tām ||

Meaning / Translation

Salutations to the Goddess, the Great Goddess, the Auspicious One, always. Salutations to Prakriti (Nature) and Bhadra (the auspicious one); we bow to her with devotion and discipline.
