Transliteration
Ik Oankar Sat Naam Karta Purakh Nirbhau Nirvair Akaal Moorat Ajooni Saibhan Gur Parsaad ||
Meaning / Translation
There is One Supreme Universal Reality, Truth is His Name, He is the Creative Being, Without Fear, Without Enmity, Timeless Form, Unborn, Self-Existent, Realized by the Guru's Grace.

आगिआ भई अकाल की तबै चलाइओ पंथ ॥ सब सिखन को हुकम है गुरु मानिओ ग्रंथ ॥ गुरु ग्रंथ जी मानिओ प्रगट गुरा की देह ॥ जो प्रभ को मिलबो चहै खोज सबद महि लेह ॥
Transliteration
Agya Bhai Akal Ki Tabai Chalayo Panth || Sabh Sikhan Ko Hukam Hai Guru Manyo Granth || Guru Granth Ji Manyo Pargat Guran Ki Deh || Jo Prabh Ko Milbo Chahai Khoj Shabad Meh Leh ||
Meaning / Translation
By the command of the Timeless Immortal Lord, the Panth was established. All Sikhs are commanded to accept the Granth as their Guru. Acknowledge the Sri Guru Granth Sahib as the living embodiment of the Ten Gurus. Whosoever desires to realize the Divine, let them seek Him within the Holy Word (Shabad).

बाणी गुरू गुरू है बाणी विचि बाणी अम्रितु सारे ॥ गुर बाणी कहै सेवकु जनु मानै परतखि गुरू निसतारे ॥

Baani Guru Guru Hai Baani Vich Baani Amrit Saare || Gur Baani Kahai Sevak Jan Maanai Partakh Guru Nistaare ||
Meaning / Translation
The Sacred Word (Bani) is the Guru, and the Guru is the Sacred Word; within this Word resides all divine Ambrosia. What the Guru's Word proclaims, the humble servant faithfully obeys; the manifest living Guru surely emancipates them.

Pothi Parmesar Ka Thaan || Saadhsang Gaavahi Gun Gobind Pooran Braham Giaan || Rahaao ||
Meaning / Translation
The Holy Scripture (Pothi) is the very abode of the Supreme Transcendent Lord. In the company of the Holy, chanting the attributes of God, one attains perfect, complete knowledge of the Divine.

गुरबाणी इसु जग महि चानणु करमि वसै मनि आए ॥ सभु किछु घर महि बाहरि नाही बाहरि तोलै सो भरमि भुलाए ॥

Gurbani Is Jag Meh Chanan Karam Vasai Man Aaye || Sabh Kichh Ghar Meh Baahari Naahi Baahari Tolai So Bharam Bhulaaye ||
Meaning / Translation
The divine Word of the Guru is the spiritual light in this dark mortal world; through divine grace, it comes to reside in the heart. Everything is contained within the inner home of the soul, nothing is outside; whoever searches outside wanders deceived by doubt.
