You are the messenger of Rama, the abode of incomparable strength, known as the Son of Anjani and the Son of the Wind. You are a mighty hero, the destroyer of evil thoughts and the companion of the wise. Your complexion is golden, and you are beautifully adorned with ear ornaments and curly hair. You hold a thunderbolt and a flag, with a sacred thread of Munja across your shoulder. You are an incarnation of Lord Shiva and the son of Kesari; your glory is worshipped by the whole world. You are highly learned, virtuous, and clever, always eager to serve Lord Rama. You delight in listening to the glories of the Lord; Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita dwell in your heart. You showed yourself in a tiny form to Sita, and in a terrifying form to burn Lanka. In a gigantic form, you destroyed the demons and accomplished all of Lord Rama's tasks.

Even Yama, Kubera, and the guardians of the directions cannot fully describe your glory. You helped Sugriva by introducing him to Rama, which led him to regain his kingdom. Vibhishana followed your advice and became the King of Lanka, as the whole world knows. You swallowed the sun, which was millions of miles away, thinking it was a sweet fruit. You carried Lord Rama's ring in your mouth and leaped across the ocean effortlessly. All the difficult tasks in this world become easy by your grace.
