द्रुपदी तु युद्ष्म द्रोणो तु मे था
Transliteration
Dhritarashtri uvacha, Dharmakshetre kurukshetre samavetaa yuyutsavaah
Meaning / Translation
Dhritarashtra said: O Sanjaya, gathered on the sacred field of Kurukshetra, eager to fight, what did they do?

पश्याती तु ताडवर्यु दूरे विराटो बा
Transliteration
Pashyati tvam acarayat, dura-stha utsannavratih, viratam samavartatah
Meaning / Translation
You who have seen the army, the sons of Pandu, arrayed for battle, arranged in a military formation

तव शिविरे सेना मे था, ततो द्रस्तु था का ब

Tava shivire sena me sthita, tatah drashtu sthitam kacit
Meaning / Translation
Your army, arrayed by Bhishma, is standing there, with many divisions, with Bhisma, Drona, and other noble warriors
