Ik Onkar Satnam Karta Purakh Nirbhau Nirvair Akal Murat Ajuni Saibhang Gur Prasad

One Universal Creator God. The Truth is His Name. The Creator is the Form of Truth. Without fear. Without enmity. Timeless, Unchanging. Beyond birth and death. Self-existent. By Guru's Grace.

सोचै सोची घटि घटि होइ ॥ मनितु न मानै कोइ ॥ नाम जपहि मुद मिलै ॥ अमनु रहै जगु सेह भुलै ॥ गुर साहिब सजणों लाइ ॥ सभ सुखु मिलै साहिबुर पाइ ॥

Sochai sochi ghat ghat hoi || Manit nu na manai koi || Naam japahi mud milai || Aman u rahai jagu seh bhulai || Gur Sahib sajanon lai || Sabh sukh u milai sahib ur pai ||
Meaning / Translation
By thinking, the mind becomes full of thoughts, yet no one follows the mind's whims. By chanting the Name, one attains bliss; one remains in peace while the world stays in error. By seeking the Guru, the True Friend, all happiness is found in the presence of the Lord.
