मूर्धन्यां तिलकं शशधरं शशिवरं, हेमाम्बरं पीताम्बरं मरकतमणिं बिभ्रत्।
Transliteration
Mūrdhanyāṁ tilakaṁ śaśadharaṁ śaśivaraṁ, Hemāmbaraṁ pītāmbaraṁ marakatamaṇiṁ bibhrat
Meaning / Translation
On the forehead, the tilak is like the moon, shining bright, wearing a garment of gold and yellow, adorned with a green emerald.

क्ष्मां धृत्वा क्षमया च क्षमये च, क्षिप्रं क्षेमं क्षुद्धिं च, करे घृतम्।
Transliteration
Kṣmāṁ dhṛtvā kṣamyā ca kṣamaye ca, kṣipraṁ kṣemaṁ kṣuddhiṁ ca, kare ghṛtam
Meaning / Translation
Holding the earth with patience and forgiveness, quickly bringing peace and purification, with ghee in hand.

चंदनस्य महिमा यथा दैवदुर्लभस्य, प्रेम्णा दत्तं चंदनं गणेशाय।
Transliteration
Candanasya mahimā yathā daivadurlabhasya, premaṇā dattaṁ candanaṁ gaṇeśāya
Meaning / Translation
The greatness of sandalwood is like the divine, difficult to obtain, with love, sandalwood is given to Lord Ganesha.

नानाविधैरुपचारैर्भक्त्या पूजयामि ते, गणेशं महालक्ष्मी च।
Transliteration
Nānāvidhairupacārairbhaktyā pūjayāmi te, gaṇeśaṁ mahālakṣmī ca
Meaning / Translation
With various offerings and devotion, I worship you, Lord Ganesha and Goddess Mahalakshmi.

तिलकं चंदनादिभिर्विधिना ये प्रयच्छन्ति, गणेशस्य प्रसादेन, महालक्ष्मीर्भवेन्नृणाम्।
Transliteration
Tilakaṁ candanādibhirvidhinā ye prayacchanti, gaṇeśasya prasādena, mahālakṣmīrbhavennṛṇām
Meaning / Translation
Those who apply the tilak with sandalwood and other substances, by the grace of Lord Ganesha, will attain the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi.
