Its enormous flag (dhwaja), bearing the sun and moon, is ceremonially changed five times a day — a ritual devotees vie to sponsor. The city of Dwarka is steeped in the legend of Krishna's golden kingdom, and archaeological finds of submerged structures offshore have fascinated researchers.
