About

Inaugurated in 1998 and designed by architect Achyut Kanvinde, the ISKCON temple at Hare Krishna Hills rises above East of Kailash with soaring shikharas visible across south Delhi. The main shrine enshrines the deities of Radha-Parthasarathi, Sita-Ram-Lakshman-Hanuman and Gaura-Nitai, worshipped through the day with elaborate aartis and kirtan. The complex houses the Glory of India cultural centre, a museum of Vedic culture, animatronic robot shows on the Gita and Ramayana, a Bhagavad Gita animatronic display, and one of the world's largest printed Bhagavad Gitas.
