How to Recite
- 1Begin with achamana: sip water from right palm three times while chanting 'Om Achyutaya Namah, Om Anantaya Namah, Om Govindaya Namah'
- 2Perform pranayama: inhale through left nostril, retain, exhale through right; repeat 3 times
- 3Invoke Lord Ganesha: 'Om Gam Ganapataye Namah' with flowers and modak offering
- 4Invoke the Guru parampara and seek blessings for successful worship
- 5Perform kalash sthapana: establish the water pot with mango leaves and coconut, invoking Varuna and all sacred rivers
- 6Do nyasa: touch various body parts while chanting bija mantras to invoke divine presence in the body
- 7Offer panchopachara (five offerings) or shodashopachara (sixteen offerings): gandha (sandalwood), pushpa (flowers), dhoop (incense), deep (lamp), naivedya (food)
- 8Offer tulsi leaves specifically to Lord Vishnu/Kalki while chanting 'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya'
- 9Recite Kalki mantras and stotras (see mantras section) with full concentration
- 10Perform aarti with camphor, moving in clockwise circle 7 times
- 11Offer pradakshina (circumambulation) 3 or 7 times around the altar
- 12Offer namaskara (prostration) and pray for dharma restoration and spiritual upliftment
- 13Distribute prasadam to all present and partake yourself
- 14Conclude with shanti mantra: 'Om Shanti Shanti Shantih'
